From Sydney airport, a taxi may be taken to central Sydney (~10km) for ~AU$35. Alternatively, the excellent CityRail system can be taken directly from the airport to Sydney Central Railway Station ($15; return $25), which is ~1km from The University of Sydney and the Rydges Camperdown Hotel; from Central, it is a short bus, taxi ride or invigorating 15-minute walk. Bus and CityRail transportation is available throughout the city. Multi-trip or weekly tickets cannot be purchased on board buses.
